Julianne laughed as she watched the monkeys swing around their cage. “I’ll bet!” she smiled. “I see a bit of a resemblance between you two.” She looked up and winked at him.
Nick feigned being upset. “Me? How dare you!” He said grabbing her around the waist and kissing her cheek. He checked his watch, then looked down at her. “We should get going if we want to catch dinner before the show.” He said. “But first, gift shop!”
“Maybe just a little bit,” she teased, giggling as he kissed her. “Awww yeah!” She took his hand and took off towards the gift shop. She slowed down as then approached it. She led him inside and smiled. “Oh my gosh, look at these hats!” she exclaimed as she saw some animal hats. She walked over to them and tried one on. “How do I look?” she asked as she turned to him.

Julianne snapped a couple pictures of the tigers and laughed. “As long as you were faster than them you’d be fine,” she teased. “They look like they have it so easy, just laying around in the shade. Looks relaxing.” She turned to watch the two that there playing around. After a few minutes she turned around and hooked her arm around Nick’s. “Come on, let’s see what else we can find,” she said with a smile.
Nick smiled at the blonde, eye twinkling. “Sounds good.” They wandered for a bit, then came across the primates. “Oh god I love monkeys!” Nick said excitedly, ginning wide and pressing his fingers against the cage. A howler looked back at him curiously. “Ook!” He said, laughing.

Jules turned when she heard her name and was surprised to see him snapping a picture of her. She blushed at his compliment and smiled. “Thank you,” she said to him. “You’re not so bad yourself.” She winked and skipped ahead a little and waited for him to catch up. “Come on slow poke, it’s getting late and you’ve got somewhere to take me tonight.” She slowed down and when he caught up, she took his hand and smiled up at him.
Nick smiled at the blonde, laughing a little. “That I do. That I do.” They rounded a corner to see that cats, the largest crowd surrounding the lions cage, as to be expected. Trying to avoid a bit of the noise, he went towards the tiger enclosure. There were around five in the area. Two were playing, but the rest were laying in teh shade of a tree, yawning. Their teeth were huge. “Damn, wouldn’t want to be a smaller animal with these guys around,” he commented, looking at their jaws.

“That would be quite the sight,” she giggled. As he linked his arm with hers, she move closer to him, holding onto his arm with her free hand. “Yes! I love all the cats,” she replied with a smile. She tugged on his arm and led him in the direction of the cats
He let Julianne drag him along, laughing. He pulled out his phone and held it steady for a picture. “Hey. Jules. Look here.” As she turned he snapped a picture, chuckling. “You’re gorgeous, you know that?”

“Thanks,” Julie said and smiled at him. She followed him outside to the Hippo pool. “I haven’t seen Fantasia in such a long time.” She watched as a smaller one swam around the others. “They’re fun to watch swim around. They seem so much more graceful in the water.”
“Mhm, I bet if they put a tutu on one and let it swim around it’d look like a ballet dancer!” He joked, kissing Julianne’s soft cheek. He Stood back up, linking arms with her. “Want to go see the cats now?”

Jules stayed back as she watched Nick move closer to the glass. “It’s huge,” she said again, fear in her voice. She started to inch away from the exhibit, moving closer to the exit. “Yeah, can we leave this one?” She glanced up at him hoping he understood her reasoning.
Nick smiled down at the blonde. “Of course.” He lead her out of the reptile house and towards the Hippo pool, leaning over the railing. “I’ve always loved hippos. Since Fantasia” He chuckled, watching them blow bubbles in the murky water.
